I learned how to develop film when I was very young, in elementary school. My elementary school was very artsy, which is where my creativity was first born. I started shooting with more of a professional camera about 2-3 years, but I would still call myself an amateur. My full time job is as an engineer and am also pursuing my Masters part time in Aerospace Engineering. Since many people have said they love my pics, I'm thinking of entering the professional space at some point, perhaps after I finish my Masters. I am interested in the opinions of people who are in the professional business area to critique some of the work that I have liked the most.
