Michael Wacht

I have been behind the camera off and on for more than 30 years. My first experience was as a reporter/photographer for a small newspaper in Georgia. I shoot primarily documentary (transportation construction, technology), but earn the occasional event. I have done volunteer pet photography for a shelter, and enjoy creating head shots and beauty shots. My dream would be to work as a travel photographer for a publication.

My photography has taken me as far away as Angola, Africa, documenting the postwar church in that southern African nation. My favorite wedding so far was at the toe of a glacier in Alaska!
