Nicholas Freeman

Los Angeles based portrait photographer Nicholas Freeman blends technical mastery with classical taste in a modern, impactful, graphic style. Nicholas has created imagery for some of the biggest fashion and apparel brands as both in-house photographer as well as independent artist.

Nicholas was dedicated to learning his craft the hard way. He began his education at commercial photography school - using a 4x5 technical camera, a dark room, and mixing his own chemistry. He prematurely left school to accept a formal apprenticeship with legendary French fashion and celebrity photographer Dominick Guillemot.

Currently Nicholas serves on the board of directors for the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP), where he volunteers his time back to the greater photographic community nationally as an educator, advocate, and ambassador through ASMPs prestigious programming.
