Nicole Mickle

I spent 8 years as a military photographer mainly concentrated on documentary and photojournalist styles. I found my love for portraiture after I got out. I did it for fun for about a year and then started working for the best wedding/commercial photographer in Charleston and Hilton Head. I started out as an assistant and second photographer and I am now first shooter. Although I do a lot of projects on the side, it's mostly as a creative outlet and a way to improve my skills. I love shooting weddings, I can't imagine a better job and I am very happy with the team I work with. I have learned more about photography in the last two years than my 8 years shooting in the military although I have some experiences and photographs from my service that many will never have, for that I am grateful.
