I could start with how much photography has been a part of my life for so many years, but let's scratch that, it's obvious.

Photography is an obsession. It's technical yet artistic. It requires you to think on your feet when pressed against so many difficulties. It's static but yet again, evokes emotions that would otherwise be extremely hard to convey with other mediums. It's a no brainer then that photography is as popular as ever and as challenging as ever!

Videography on the other hand is a beast you need to tame. You don't get second chances once the take is done. You don't get the all the flexibility and the ease of work photo manipulation software might offer. A good edit doesn't happen by chance, is happens with skills and practice. The sensation of a well made film after hours of shooting and hours of editing is probably close the feeling Edmond and Tenzing felt once reaching their ultimate destination. Pride.

In the end, isn't the reason why we're doing anything? To get a glimpse at what achieving something big, something meaninful, something beautiful can do to a human being.
