Started with 35 mm film camera from Germany when I was 8 years old, (1979) not even an exposure meter on it, Then Pentax film SLR in the 90s with a couple lenses. Film costed too much to learn on but definitely taught me to take your time to compose and think about the image you intend to create. The Nikon D600 I have now is liberating. I still spend 10 min composing a single shot lol. After that I take 10 shots, just because, and laugh my ass off. 10 out of 11 to delete. So much fun!
