Struggling with digital. Prefer ZONE SYSTEM ( MINOLTA SPOTMETER M ) for my 8x10 DEARDORFF, 4x5 TOYOVIEW and WISTA, and HASSELBLAD 500 C/M. Studied with Nancy Brown, Herb Ruether, and Art Ketchum. Friends include Miller, Kluetmeier, Eppridge. Photographer- Kennedy, Nixon, Queen Noor. Been to Big Sur, Rome, Bristol, Paris, Munich. UW with NIKONOS, but no deeper than ~40 meters.
Currently ( began Spring 2024 ) experimenting with deep space spectrophotography and subatomic particle detector [ cloud, bubble and calorimetric ] imaging. Shoot some digital [ NIKON D4 ], but for general everyday carry I prefer my straight unmetered F w/ F36 MD and cordless pack. Large format- looking to move up to a 16x20 ( CHAMONIX ? ). A control freak, I also lean towards studio where my SPEEDOTRON BLACK LINE PACKS and assortment of heads and light modifiers prevail.
