Zeynep Dogu
San Diego portrait photographer Zeynep Dogu was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey to an artistic family. She followed her mother’s steps and wanted to make a career in the fine arts. First aspired to be a sculptor and found herself in the 3d and 2nd animation fields. She graduated from Anatolia University in 2001 from the fine art faculty and Vancouver Film School's 3d Animation and 3d effects department in 2002. She started her career as a 3d visual effects artist in Canada working on a variety of featured 3d movies. She worked for the Disney gaming company for several years creating characters for video games. After she had her daughter she became fascinated by capturing her first milestones. In 2010 she decided a career change and became a portrait photographer. She has been specializing in maternity photography, boudoir portraits, pre-weddings, and headshots in her San Diego studio. She especially loves photographing women of all ages, in every milestone of their lives, making them feel empowered, beautiful, and confident. Besides her portrait work, she loves travel photography and created an online gallery with project North India project.
