Ricardo Franco
Graduated in marketing and self-taught in web development, I realized after working for some companies in the digital area that I wanted to chart my own path and be geographically independent.
A few months after making that decision, I was already working remotely, which led me to explore Asia for an entire year, increasing my appetite for traveling and exploring the beauty of this planet.
Since then I never looked back and more than 40 countries later, photography turned out to be a natural extension of my passion for Nature and technology, allowing me to articulate these two realities while discovering new sensations and balancing the time I spent at the computer with more time outdoors.
When I am on the ground I appreciate the multitude of feelings that landscape photography gives me, from relaxation and communion with Nature to the adrenaline and adventure of exploration.
My goal as a visual artist is to show people the beauty of this world in a somewhat surreal and dreamy way that results from a fusion of my perception and reality. I believe there are places on this planet so magical that it is impossible to do them justice without mastering certain editing techniques that help to convey their message and experience.
I am particularly fascinated by dark and moody atmospheres resulting from the battle of the elements which often translate to contrasts of light with cloudy and dark skies.
