I am actually a computer programmer, and one of my jobs gave me a myriad of Canon cameras to work with for X-Ray technology. This was back in the late 2000s. Eventually I started learning how they operated not just in small dark-light settings, when the computer asked them to shoot, but taking them on outings. I asked to be paid in the Cameras and lenses. That was where I started with my original Rebel SL1 and I still use the Canon EF-L 24mm 1.4 lens that came from that job (...that lens is still worth a lot). Now I have a whole camera bag of lenses and filters, and I keep improving my eye, and editing ability. I now sell Stock Photography, and keep trying to think of ways to do more. I may start doing Senior shots, I have one buyer soon. I also got into Astro, especially during the Solar Eclipse, I flew to Texas, and was able to find a clear spot during most of it.
