Robert Raymer
I started in photography in the late 1990's shooting photos of the underground punk and hardcore scenes in DC and NYC. While still new to my first professional photography job, shooting for an even studio on Long Island, I felt a calling after 9-11-01 to become an EMT and eventually a Firefighter and Paramedic, which is currently my primary occupation.
After years of relegating my photography to "hobby" status, I am attempting to re-enter the professional photography world by starting Robert Raymer Photography, which focus on Headshots, Portraits, Children, and occasional Editorial and Commercial Portraiture. I also try and keep myself busy with personal projects ranging from live music and band photography, to experimental IR photography, and a current work in progress that deals with portraits and stories of First Responders in the DC area.
