Hello! I am just getting back into photography after about a 25 year hiatus. I got lucky and found a Canon EOS Rebel DSLR at a second hand store that works perfectly, considering it is probably one of the first ones out there. I am in the beginning stages of relearning the ins and outs of the camera, lighting, (I am shooting a bunch of pictures of little girl dresses that my wife makes, learning the studio setup in the process) and filters. I will upload a couple of pictures of the dresses and two cloud shots I took with and without a polarizing filter. It really taught me the difference between basic and filtered. I am glad I found this site because I have been wanting to connect with some people who know what they are doing and learn from them.
Oh, that's right! I am supposed to tell you about myself. I am 62, live in Utah, born in Northern Minnesota and I am going to school at Weber State University this fall to get my Teaching Certificate in Special Education. I intend to teach till I can't anymore!
