About Daniel

Slow Clap is a San Francisco video production company co-founded by Daniel Lichtenberg in 2014, located in the Mission for two years and recently relocated to Bayview. Daniel Lichtenberg has been a director and editor of documentary, corporate, and commercial video since 2007, when he graduated with a BFA in Film Production from NYU's Tisch School of Arts. He further refined his storytelling skills while earning an MFA in Creative Writing from SFSU in 2011. His films have screened at festivals all over the world, including Cannes, Durban International, South by Southwest, and SF DocFest. Most recently, Daniel has collaborated with the Asian Law Caucus, San Francisco Immigrant Legal & Education Network, and Environmental Defense Fund to highlight and celebrate the untold stories most important to the Bay Area community. He co-founded Slow Clap to make sure those stories get told.
