Swapan Mukherjee

Have been shooting for over 60 years. Turned professional over 50 years ago. The first 25 years of professional life was spent in London, U.K., working for one of the leading food photographers of U.K., in photographic departments of leading advertising agencies and design groups and finally running own studio, shooting beauty, fashion and products. Won L'Oreal's "Beauty photographer of the Year" awards for three consecutive years, Cokin's award for Architecture, Four awards at "The World and It's People" , sponsored by Kodak, Rochester, various awards for Portraiture.
Now working from Mumbai, India, specializing in Architecture, Corporate, Fashion, Food and Travel photography. Won many awards for food photography at various advertising clubs around the country. Recently won awards for architecture, portraits and sports from an international organization.
For the last 5 years or so have been teaching portraiture, fashion and beauty photography at a well-known academy for professional photography. Any spare time is devoted to personal art photography.
