I can’t remember a time that I didn’t like to take pictures. Light and shadow are only slightly more seductive than color. I picked up my first full frame Nikon almost 10 years ago. I took a walk on the wild side, with macro photography. Looking back, I was always framing up flowers and tiny critters much like portraits. So it made sense to move towards portraiture as a way to help me make ends meet. Little did I understand how little I knew and how so much I had to still learn. Studio and fashion photography are my happy place today and portraiture is still in my wheelhouse.
