Tammy Mellert

I started in Photography at the age of 16 when my father gave me my first camera, a Canon AE1. He taught me how to see the world through the lens and that began my obsession with it.

For the last 30+ years my photography has grown and changed. I started photographing people in the 90's and have worked with some of the best photographers in Cleveland, OH. My love of macro and nature photography has always been with me. I continue to shoot nature and get out in the woods as much as I can. I love capturing the small things in life and what I call "the small worlds within the world". I like photographing the details and things unnoticed or passed over. Those are what catches my eye and my attention. Life is in the details!
