Todd Rigos

Todd Rigos (b.1987) is a contemporary photographer based in Athens, Greece, whose work explores notions of intimacy, identity, and human interaction. Through curiosity, observation and presence he seeks to document patterns between people, nature, the things we consume and the milieus in which we live.
He started developing his personal work in 2009 and his self-taught skills extend across digital and analogue street photography. His work has been recognized through several awards, including the Photometria International Photography Festival (2012) and the Atenistas Photography Contest, among others.
Rigos has exhibited in numerous group shows in Athens and across the country, and held his first solo exhibition, “Anoixi,” in June 2014. He currently works in various areas, such as landscape, street, documentary and many more experimenting with shape, light and unconventional techniques.
In summer 2017 he was awarded in two more international competitions. He exhibited his work in the Art Gallery of Corinthos through “Heritage” international competition and “Corinth exposed” instagram contest (Corinthian Photography Club) and in the “Antiparos International Photo Festival” where he was selected among others. In August 2017 Rigos held his second solo exhibition with his latest project “Crossroads” in Paros island and he is currently on the roll traveling and preparing new projects.
