Kimberly Loomis
Born in California and adopted soon after, Kimberly's formative years were spent attending an international school in Saudi Arabia and traveling to Europe, Africa, Australia and South Asia. Her father was an avid photographer on their trips. These experiences crafted Kimberly into the person she is today and deeply inform her vision, artistic expression and mission.
After working in the veterinary industry and taking lifestyle photos "on the side" as a way to bring in extra income, Kimberly began to explore what it really meant to craft images that went beyond a saturated image market. She began working on what she would eventually learn was called 'personal work', or projects that were for no other purpose than creating art. These personal pieces lead to being hired for projects with Seattle area musicians, businesses and non-profits.
She enjoys working with people, bands and companies to create a visual presence in branding that goes beyond simple portraits and imagery and dips a toe into the realm of fine art..or jumps right in.
Kimberly is currently booking for commercial, editorial and portrait work as well as showing her fine art in a gallery setting.
