I'm not a full time photographer, but would have loved to be one. Although i am miles behind most, i love, and always have loved to play around with a camera.
I did start to get serious in buying some studio strobes etc. Even though, i started at the bottom with those curly bulbs and umbrellas.
Things changed when i finally got a couple of cheap strobes with soft boxes. I then started to get my first few models in. Some amateur TFP type thing, and a couple of paid models that knew far more in modelling than i did with double cameras. The dual cameras, were because i did 3D photography at the time.
Some years back, i had a bad time in my life, and put my camera down, never to pick it up again for some years.
Even though i think i know nothing in photography the technical talk. I think i know enough to teach a total newbie photographer how to catch up with me in photography, so we can do photo shoots as a team.
I also have my wife backing me as far as i want to go, and where money is spare enough to buy a few things.
With just a Canon 70D, and a couple of cheap lenses, i am setting of in a venture unknown.
We are starting with building a small set for kids photography, and going down that path.
I have done Macro, Nude, implied nude, pinup and more. And we will still do that on occasion.
I'm not perfect, but theres always room to learn slowly.
