My first camera was given to me by my parents. It was a Kodak Brownie Fiesta film camera. I captured moments of my sisters & brothers. My second camera was a Polaroid instant and third, a Kodak Pocket 110. I spent several years in the U.S. Navy onboard a guided missile cruiser U.S.S. Fox. I learned how to use a 35 mm overseas. After serving, I attended the Art Institute of Boston where I learned how to develop and print B&W film. I also learned how to utilize medium format and twin lens cameras.
I have a Canon A1, Nikon Nikkormat, Minolta and Leica film camera.
I worked in a variety of small studios around the city of Boston. I have provided volunteer photographic services to non-profit organizations, The United Way, Accelerated Cure Project ( Multiple Sclerosis ) and Project Smile ( Abused & Traumatized Children )
I love the art of photography
