Michael Ball
As a fly fisherman and car enthusiast, I wanted to start documenting the out of town trips I was taking so that I could look back on them later and share them with family and friends. Quickly, having seen my clips, people in my network started hitting me up to help them with mini-jobs like creating a retirement documentary and making real estate videos. During that time, I started studying my craft and developing a professional skill set and market understanding.
My first large project came in 2016 when I collaborated with a local design firm called AM Independent. They hired me to help them with the 2016 Tacoma Film Festival campaign which included getting 60 impromptu interviews and making one full length commercial featuring the best outtakes from those interviews. Since then I have worked on a dozen or so videos for all types of clientele and have continued to stay busy despite having a full-time leadership role at a local healthcare supplier.
I am passionate about the power of video and digital communication and am always looking to try new things and extend my working knowledge of video production, marketing, social media practices, and communication in general.
