Piotr Kuzniar

Hey guys. My name is Piotr and I live in New York. I am a self-taught street and travel photographer. I started my journey in photography over ten years ago durring my freshman year in high school when I bought my first dslr. Since then, Ive worked on countless events such as weddings, baptismals, communions, engagement parties, and baby showers.

Over the years my passion for photography has led me to three main areas of focus; travel, street, and portraits. I love to travel because I get to meet new people and learn about their cultures. I love to shoot on the streets because of the rush and movement. Never will one moment repeat itself. I love to shoot portraits because it gets me out of my comfort zone. And though it sometimes makes me uncomfortable, it is one of the most rewarding things in the world. Not to mention, some of the best conversations I’ve ever had have been with random people I meet on the streets when asking if I can take their headshot.

Plans for the near future? There’s a few. Currently I’ve roamed to over twenty-seven countries and I don’t think Ill be stopping anytime soon. So along the way I want to give back with my photography services. And that’s why the one thing I want to do more is work with NGO’s. Over the years I’ve realized that my images can help others by bringing needed attention to worthy causes. I think there’s a lot that we can all do as individuals.
