John Halpern

I'm a professional photographer located in the New York metro area that has been working professionally for over 40 yrs. My early career focused in the music industry where I built up a reputation for my Album/CD packages. During that time I was lucky enough to have worked with some of the top art directors at the major record labels. Two of those albums received Grammy Award consideration in the 'Best Package' category. During that period I had the opportunity to shoot albums and tour books for 'The Eagles', 'Van Halen', 'OutKast', along with dozens of other artists and bands. In recent years most of my assignments have been in the advertising and healthcare world. At this point in my career I'm very proud of my ability to be thrown in almost any situation and be able to come out of it with some strong images. Part of that is my experience, and quite honestly, the other part of that is the capability and flexibility of the digital tools I work with.
