when I was a kid my dad traveled everywhere with a camera. I remember dropping off the film at the local photo lab and picking it up a few days later. when we picked up our fresh developments it was my job to organize the photos into an album. I absolutely loved creating a timeline with photo books. these are books I cherish with my family to this day. when the camera was finally handed down to me I had no idea what I needed to shoot. I just made crap photos for years until one day I remembered telling the stories with my dad's albums. this is when I realized that a camera is a much more powerful tool than anticipated. think of a camera as a pen and a photograph a chapter to your book. this book is called life and we can tell that story by freezing these memories in time.
