I've been a shutterbug for decades. Starting with my Mom's Kodak Brownie in the 60's, going through a Polaroid phase, a couple of Minolta SLR's in the Navy during the 80's, a cheap EyeQ digital, a Canon Powershot S2IS for several years, and now a Nikon D200. And of course, the ubiquitous smartphone camera. I'm came to fstoppers because I am looking to stretch myself with regards to photographs and to connect with others who have similar interests in that arena.

I work as head brewer at a micro brewery in Northern New Mexico, where I love to hike, mountain bike, snowboard, and camp. Photo opportunities are abundant in the mountains around where I live!
