Photography has been my favorite hobby and pastime for the last 30 years. I began with a simple kodak instamatic camera which I took everywhere---photographing everything imaginable. Even with such a simple camera I learned to be creative. Later on I purchased my first 35mm camera, a simple entry level Nikon. I began to show my work to various local newspapers and was able to work part-time with two of the papers as a stringer. Later I worked for Inside Sports Magazine. During this time I covered professional sporting events and concerts. I subsequently moved up to a Nikon F-4, then purchased a Panasonic digital camera and finally a Nikon D-80 and D-7000. I loved taking photos of people foremost but also really enjoy landscape photography. Most places I go I try to remember to pack my camera. I'm blessed that my wife is as passionate about photography as I am and we really enjoy doing photo outings together.
