Eric Hiss

I studied both Physics and Fine art at UC Berkeley and after starting in science moved onto biotech and engineering then to business consultant and small business owner. I've always had a passion for the arts. I studied sculpture but have moved to photography as a creative outlet. Since 2013 I have been the importer/dealer for Rolleiflex (DW-Photo GmbH) and in 2019 started to also import Zenit lenses for work - http://Rolleiflex.us and http://zenit.store My interests in photography and camera gear are quite diverse and I shoot with a variety of different formats in both digital and analog. I have started a blog mostly for my own note keeping, called http://historic.camera

Currently I shoot with Rolleiflex Hy6 Mod2 cameras with film and digital backs, several graflex's, Mamiya Univ Press, Voigtlander Bessa III, Plaubel 670, Nikon F4, Canon 5D2, Rolleiflex 6008AF + CF 528, Zörk MFS, Linhof 8x10, 5x7, 4x5, 2x3 cameras, Noblex panoramic, Reflex Korelle, and just a ton more that I'm forgetting including some I have built myself.
