Formerly law enforcement. Worked Corrections and DC Police, assignments included; operations, classification parole, custody, crime scene / evidence, property, AFIS (Automated Fingerprint Identification System) and various components.
Regarding photography, my interests centers around landscape, portraiture, travel, and street photography.

Another photographer once asked me if I do headshots? I replied, "Yes, my team and I accumulated 45,000." He repeated the number somewhat shocked and wanted to know the secret. I replied, "From 2000 to 2010, the Third District Police Station made 6000 + arrests each year. Over a ten year period, that's 60,000 arrests of which 45,000 were handled by the evening shift. One officer searched, the other booked, and I handled the mugshots and fingerprints. The other 15,000 can be split between day and midnight shifts."
The photographer finally caught the joke. :)
