Steve Lowther

Artistically I am inspired by the Bauhaus style as well as the art deco movement. I find that the impact of line and color on our perception of space and mood when being immersed in an environment or represented in a two dimensional image can be truly moving.

Many years ago I started working with film spending countless hours in color and black and white darkrooms. Now that digital has replaced the “old” ways, I still spend hours processing my images and developing new approaches of image manipulation. My technical expertise has been sought out by NASA, the National Ground Intelligence Center, Firaxis Games, the U.S. Army and many others.
