Michael Lees

I am primarily a landscape and travel photographer, although from time to time I do venture outside of those boundaries. I am based in Hervey Bay. A small town on the east coast of Queensland, Australia.

Although I love technology, I would not say I am a technical photographer. I have won a number of awards for my images, but I shoot more by a sense the aesthetics than by ensuring my images are technically perfect, they are not. Photography is very much an art and just with any other form of art, some will like my work and some will not. I am my own worst critic, but if I can articulate the thought process behind an image and I am happy with that, then I will put it out there for others to judge.
