I am 70 years old: A card carrying old fart. I describe myself with one word: Explorer. I have a degree in Forestry and spent my career as a Forest Resource Manager. I have lived and worked from the mountains of North Georgia to the far northwest corner of Montana. I was able to take an early retirement and moved to the high mountains of central Mexico where I lived for 8 wonderful years. I bought my first camera in 1975. My photography runs from landscapes taken in back woods, wilderness areas to street photography taken in the little villages and towns around central Mexico. I now live outside of Charlotte, North Carolina and recovering from my fourth spinal surgery. I am itching to pack my camera gear and survival gear and get lost in a national forest for a week or two. But, one step at a time.
