I started my first photographic steps in 1975. Since then I've been trying to hone my humble Skills with a LOT of trial and error...
After a couple of years, I started reading books on different types of photography. This gave me a major boost when it came to think in light, contrast, colour combinations, perspective-considerations, "less is MORE" and how to arrange my composition to tell the story in my way.
Looking at other Photographers pictures, has given me a lot of inspirations on how to approach my next images and projects. The more pictures I take, the more I realize how much I still got to hone my Skills.
I started with a Minolta 35 mm. analog stillfilm camera, and has followed the progression into digital photography, ending up with Sony Alpha system (my last camera is Sony A7, full frame)
My nickname is "Lighthunter". I chose this name becourse I never get tired of hunting for the ultimate lightning conditions...
I consider myself an enthusiastic amateur (meaning someone who LOVES his pasttime activity without being a prophesional photographer). Allthough I've sold some of my pictures, I love the lack of ALLWAYS having to perform maximally in ordet to stay in business... 😃. In this way I can enjoy walking about with my camera in my own pace , and whenever I feel up to going for a "photosafari".
My lates projects - for the time being is to make pictures (directly out of camera) creating impressionistic inpired pictures as well as Infrared B&W pictures.
