Лазо Светлописац
Лазо Светлописац, ака Larry Angier travels rural America and the Balkan Region photographing people, places and the cultural landscape. He studied under Al Weber, Ansel Adams, and other West-Coast masters. At his northern California, studio he electronically crafts his photographs into both fine-art prints and canvas in his digital print lab. His work spans more than six decades, over two centuries.
His photography appears in RANGE, VIA, and Nevada magazines. Books showcasing his work include “Eight Centuries of Mileševa Monastery”, “Cowboys and Critters”, The Magnificent American West”, “Tails From Out There”, “Icons of Jackson’s St. Sava Church” & “Face to Face with the American West”.
His work is in the collections of the University of the Pacific, Stockton, Calif., the National Steinbeck Center, Salinas, Calif., the Museum of Northeastern Nevada in Elko, Nev., the Father Serra Museum in Petra, Mallorca, Spain, the National Ethnographic Museum, Belgrade, Serbia, and others.
Local works are on permanent display throughout his community including private and public buildings.
