Mainly I am an artist and paint for 45 years in oils – and often I use my own Photos as a sketch for the realistic paintings. Therefore I studied photography with F.R. OHNEISER in Vienna/Austria. I had a studio and a Gallery of my own 20 years ago but moved then to Styria. It was a great step for me to move, but I don´t regret it.
Also I don´t regret moving from large format photography – Linhof Kardan 4x5 in – (and mid format 6x7cm Mamiya) to digital photography (Panasonic Lumix DC-G 9). Still I do some work with my old Leica and the old Kiew 88. And of course I still paint in oils.
