Roderick Wells

Roderick J. Wells is a renowned Bahamian Photographer who has developed an insatiable appetite for capturing some of the most creative and memorable moments that depict fashion, beauty, commercial, and real estate portraits on film. Who would have thought that a mere hobby could be nurtured and ripened into a craft that would captivate so many?
Today, his drive and passion has propelled him in his professional career where he has shot publications for Bahamian Escapes, Brutha, and Exiles. Wells has also worked alongside various clients like the late Thomas A. Robinson, The British Colonial Hilton, The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Nygard, Twin Brothers, Hoffer’s, The Miss Bahamas Organization, Harl Taylor Bag, The Bahamas Ministry of Youth, and The Bahamas Cigarette & Tobacco Company where he has displayed his aesthetic sensibilities and technical skills.
This 29 year old echoes the profound sentiments of Karl Lagerfeld. Photographs typically “…capture a moment that’s gone forever, impossible to reproduce.” Through his photography, Wells seeks to capture the quintessence of those special moments behind the lens, for others to relive over and over again. He states that, "For my clients, my number one goal is not to just provide you with just an image, as any photographer can do that. My goal is to sell you a once in a lifetime experience."
