I have been photographing from the age of 16 with my father's camera. That was a Practice TL if I remember correctly, in 1977. I bought my first own camera that I still have today, and that was the Olympus OM10 Quartz. I taught myself everything myself, so no photo course and YouTube was not there yet. My interests then lay in Macro photography, Landscape photography, and a lot, and I could often be found in the center of Nijmegen with my beautiful set. From experimenting with different rolls of film Kodak, Agfa, Milford, and experimenting a lot with ISO. I also started my own darkroom, which was a black and white darkroom, because black and white photography is a very interesting branch of photography. I spent many hours in the darkroom at my parents house in the attic. My father had an Aquarium shop so glass and silicone sealant were plentiful and I made a nice glass container out of it where my developing dishes fit well, and a thermostat from the store was the solution to keep the dishes at the right temperature. In 1983 I moved from Nijmegen to Wijchen and there ( my one house ) I had the space to make my darkroom even bigger and more beautiful. With the advent of the digital camera I didn't like photography anymore, I broke down my darkroom and took it to the thrift store years later. In 2016 I heard from a colleague that another colleague had a camera for sale. It turned out to be a Panasonic G7 Body, for a ridiculous price. So I said sold, now looking for a 12-60mm.
