By profession dipl.ing.el. (electronic engineer). Love photography from primary school.
As a young engineer I was developer of industrial transmitters. At that time I have some patent pending. Later turned to software programming in assembler, C, C++ and VB.
What connects electronic devices development, software development and photography is creation. Started in '70-ties with Cmena 8, at home I had photo lab for B&W pohotography. Switched to digital in 2010th with my first DSLR.
Few years ago I was wondering if I can have some success on Instagram with my photos. Opened an account where I have published beauty portraits that I have shoot in last decade. My goal was 1000 followers. Very soon I have achieved this and I needed new photos, so I started to work with models. At that time I developed my photographic style shooting mostly urban portraits.
Why I like urban portraits so much? Because I live in city, constantly walking around, looking for nice backgrounds. I found urban backgrounds very nice for photography. I let my models to select their outfit and pose, I postion my models to create scene with background. You can check it on my Instagram @ergas_photography.
