About George
George Kitrinos is a self-taught professional photographer with more than 34 years of film and digital experience. Specializing in available and controlled lighting, people have always been his primary focus. Kitrinos spent 13 years as a freelance sports shooter covering Bay Area professional teams including the 49ers’ dynasty years. Today, Kitrinos serves as one of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory’s principal photographers. In that role, he captures and documents some of our nation’s greatest scientific achievements.
