About Carrie
I am a Moose Cree/Wiikwemkoong Anishinaabe First Nations and English Photographer and Filmmaker. I focus on Canadian Indigenous issues such as residential schools, the Sixties/Millennium Scoop, and aging out of group and foster care. My next film will document the goose hunt in Moose Factory, Ontario and the environmental and social concerns that threaten the survival of my people and culture. I have the great fortune of having multimedia skills and Indigenous organizations hire me as an event photographer since I am familiar with spiritual customs and understand how to enter a community with respect and reciprocity.
