My 1st good camera was a Canon A-1 shooting slides & b&w film. I regret that almost all my work was directed at landscapes. The pics I took that are really cherished by others are pics I took of people captured doing something that symbolize them & somehow caught thier natural character. These pics will be cherished through generations of the family usually as the centerpiece. My few mag covers published were pics I really never liked & were quickly forgotten about.
After a few years of being serious. I would completely move onto another hobby until I became good. Then I would completely drop it & mess around with photography for 2-4 years then drop it again. The pics I posted are not good, but they are important to me as they symbolize my attitude. I would take chemo, get my wife to drive me to the gym. Usually puking before I got to the door. I couldn’t work hard enough to gain, but it would keep me from losing. My life has always been about struggles from being orphaned at 9.
Later I will post some decent landscapes. I’m starting a new struggle at the moment & these remind me of what I can do in the face of adversity.
