Getting old, is all I can say, love photography. I put semi pro, as I have dove into weddings with both feet and corporate work also. I just love putting smiles on faces and shoot happy. I love new tech and ideas and sharing ideas when related to image taking. I never liked jpg shooting, I don't trust myself when it counts. I do love humour in the field, thus why I follow Lee like a puppy dog. Yet he must be 18 year younger, I think he has what it takes. I have played with imaging for 40 years + and still learning. I am in construction as a day job, and love that also. The danger factor of running extreme machines in high power situations, keeps me honest and sharp. But never wanted to let go of photography, and try to make it my business as both combined, make a good income. I shoot for the, yes second place but second largest construction firm in the world. I have followed many mentors through the years, but love this site and others with the same interests, the most. I have one cam left, a d3, with lots of flash guns and pocket wizards with a few studio lights left. I need to upgrade, eventually, I guess if photog was my main business I would be medium format by now. So I have slowed down in my aggressive chasing of work in imaging, but do baby shoots weddings and corporate, work, about ounce a week. I found getting help from some pro's tough, and help, beginners as much as I know how.
