Alex Ford

Born in the SF Bay area with grammar school there. Jr. High School/High School in Chula Vista. College in San Diego and Los Agneles Areas. Probation Deputy was only full time job as career now retired. Began shooting the Nikon F in 1970/1971. Have large quantities of digital files and a small library of negatives. Great architectural shots are my most satisfying pictures or captures. I enjoy shooting sports and nature when hiking, most recently. Mostly do not use tripods. Have many hobbies too numerous to list. Enjoy also shooting certain kinds of car shows. Learning the differences in final images of film and digital is of interest to me as well as how to get good results out of digital. Have not returned to film but still have a body or two if I ever decide to try that again. Best wishes to all photographers. AF PS: I've never used the video feature of my Nikon digital cameras. I'm a very poor videographer and don't like to shoot video. I'm not that great of a still photographer but 10X better than a video guy.
