My interest in photography began in high school which had a darkroom students could use. Developer, stop bath, fixer - I can still smell them from this many years away. My dad let me build a darkroom next to the furnace in the basement. Many hours spent in the dark!

I'm fully digital now, and since my wife is a birder, I'm a birder too. Birds are the subject of much of my photography, but I do product promos, landscapes, still life - pretty much whatever is in front of me. The challenge being how to make an interesting photograph.
