Giles Rocholl
Giles started his professional career in 1980 at the age of sixteen as a trainee photojournalist
with the Ackrill Newspaper Group, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, United Kingdom.
He went on to work for the York Evening Press, York and Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds.
From 1996 to 1999 he was Picture Editor for the Lancashire Evening Post and the Yorkshire Post
before going freelance in 1999.
Giles has been closely involved in the digital photography revolution and its take up by industry.
He has worked for International, National and Regional clients which currently include
Yorkshire’s top Banks, Accountants and Law firms amongst his clients.
As well as Public Relations photography Giles also works in Landscape, Architectural,
Wedding and Art photography.
