Will Taylor

I started as a yearbook staff photographer in High School in 1987. After high-school I found my love for music and soon found my self working in a local church doing sound and video. I was drawn to the creative field. I picked the camera up again when my daughter was born in 2002. I started researching and studying the craft. I got my first paid gig in 2008, when a church member approached me. Then I knew the basics. Point, expose, shoot. I joined groups like Capitol Area Photographers (CAP) and Shoot & Share DC. It opened a new world to me. Fast forward... I have networked within DC's local scenes from Film to Fashion landing the position of Director of Photography of Taste of the Runway DC in 2015, which is when I also found my niche in Headshot Photography. Photographing actors, radio show hosts and book authors.
