[BTSV] Contest: Aurora Lifestyle

Michael Ericsson: "There is my latest behind the scenes video for a shoot I did back in early September. I've had it in my head for a while to create some sort of tribute video to the late Dean Collins. After seeing the call for entries from Fstoppers.com, I decided to run with it.”

Wow... hard to tell whether this is a tribute or a piss-take, but it's a good BTSV... A very close mimicry of the Dean Collins classics...

I would fell it as tribute if he put more work to achieve final image in one shot. This is more like a mimic of Dean Collins and his tutorials. More a joke than tribute...

One of the worst BTSV I ve ever seen -.-...

Yeah I didn't know if this guy was serious or just talks like that all the time, either way nice to see how he did the shot but boring to watch him talk.

That moustache, that way of talking, those looks... my hipster-o-meter just overflowed.

Also, why would you buy a 1 stop ND filter to cut that stop from 1/200 to 1/400? Nah, better use some from-teh-past Mamiya camera.

Going from 1/200 to 1/400 decreases ambiant light without decreasing the strobe where as using a ND filter would decrease both ambiant and strobe light at the same time.

That sweater... LOL

i really like it !  Dean its  seen these from where ever he is

libary? ....OTT lighting diagram... hey... is this for real?

Good pic, but the video is kinda annoying

For all those that still don't get it, just watch any Dean Collins video and you'll understand!
