The Wednesday Rundown 7.27.11

Howdy and welcome to the Wednesday Rundown. I hope everyone has been staying cool since this "heat dome" came down upon us. We have some great creative shoots this week. Check out the Fly Away shoot that features a very good break down of the shoot. We also have a stop motion video that has a great outcome. If you have a video that you think we might like to post, please click on "submit content" above.

Fly Away:

Danylo had an idea of a uplifting moment shoot and well he captured it pretty spot on. I have seen a couple shoots like this but there is something pretty cool about this one. Danylo also gives us plenty of information about the shoot on his blog. This is a BTS I want to try myself. http://danylophotography.com/blog/?p=492

Stop Motion Commerical:

A BTS video for a stop motion commerical. The video is short and to the point however it is very creative. It is refreshing seeing photographers use different ideas to grab out attention.

HDR Iceland:

Trey Ratcliff walks us through a HDR shoot in Iceland. This place is breath taking and Trey does a great job of capturing as much of the beauty as possible. Check out his site to see more of his travels http://www.stuckincustoms.com/ .

The Making of Hope:

This shoot includes some creative angles and one giant softbox. This thing is huge. Check out more of the photographers work at toddbiss.com

Subtle HDR is so incredible, awesome video from Trey

I don't think videos like Trey's should be in the Wednesday rundown. It's too good to not be directly on the homepage. (Not that I want to take it away from you Jerrit)

Matt I hear yeah, I snag what I can :P.

i cant wait til HDR dies and goes away ... just sayin'

the hdr films look pretty slick sometimes.
