Recently we sent out a funny tweet asking what you what we should do with these three cameras, and many of you suggested we give them away. Well ask and you shall receive! It's been a while since we have run a contest this big, and since the summer is over we figured we should end it with a bang. As mentioned above, we are teaming up with the SlrLounge, BH Photo, and Cloud Spot to give away the winner's choice of a Canon 5DS R, Nikon D810, or Sony a7RII. These three cameras are the three hottest cameras on the market and produce the highest quality images offered by any of the Big Three camera brands.

So How Do I Enter?
In the past we have run contests through all sorts of social media platforms. For this contest we are simplifying the process even more by offering 5 unique was to enter. If you sign up for a free account with Cloud Spot (a killer photo sharing site for professional photographers) or watch our latest Fstoppers Landscape tutorial video, you can gain 5 entries for each. If you do any of the other entries, you can gain an additional chance to win. It's pretty simple stuff and if you do all 6 entries, you will actually get your name placed in the random drawing 14 times!

It's pretty early in Charleston, as it's just now crowding 0200 here in MT. But the anxiety has been getting the better part of me. So I had to check if y'all had announced the winner yet. Hello, How come it says "This Competition has ended" since it's not past "11:59 PM Eastern Time on October 2nd"?
I believe they meant that the winner would be chosen "Oct. 2nd". All I ever heard was that it ended the end of Sept. Though I think it was still up yesterday?
Ok, I'm I missing something? It says "UPDATE: LAST DAY TOMORROW!", "click entry form below", "All entries must be received by 11:59 PM Eastern Time on October 2nd" , and yet there are no links anywhere for the contest and no way to enter as far as I can see. According ot everything on the post it should be available still.
They haven't updated that post. listen to the video he says "actually the 2nd". Tough, as you point out, the post below says " All entries must be received by 11:59 PM Eastern Time on October 2nd. So I can see your confusion. I've been just going by what he said in the video. If more than one person is handling the posts they might have just gotten a wire or two crossed?
Why don't I have any entries listed? I had 14!!
If your problem persists or hasn't changed, just clear your cached cookies. You may be just pulling up a cached page from your computer and not actually seeing the current page.
Or just try refreshing the page.

Only other thing might be is that you are not logged into your existing account. Just make sure your logged in as you did to begin with.

Question: why is the contest ended? Above, it says the following:
"All entries must be received by 11:59 PM Eastern Time on October 2nd."
At the time of writing this that's 8 hours from now.
I've built, administered and designed several web sites. This could be something as simple as them having set a timer for the contest initially (after the end of the month) then through posts in effect, extended it two days. But forgot to reset the timer. We won't know until someone logs on to update the page.
I've got my entries in early so this mishap doesn't affect me. Ideally, everyone that planned on entering had done so well before the deadline. I feel for those of you that hadn't and were waiting for the last minute.

October 2 is the perfect deadline as it's my 16th anniversary of a car accident that left me paralyzed. Photography became my therapy that helped me see life in a new way.

where does it say your entries? Everything is saved in our database on the backend but I'm not sure where you can see your own profile.
Mine shows right on this page. Shows I have 8 entries out of 14. It also says there are 255745 total entries.
the glam "area" has a your entries counter on the top left corner, and my counter is at 0, also if i've entered
when and where is the winner going to be announced?
I know for a fact I entered this contest, but now I can't find anywhere it says that I did nor do I have an account associated with fstoppers or slrlounge, only the one for cloud spot.
Seems that a lot of people have the same problem. I went from something like 12-15 entries to 0 with no reason ...
If I remember correctly, you do not need an account for Fstoppers. Our entries were to watch our youtube video, subscribe to our youtube channel, and share the post.
The cookies through "Gleam" recognizes each entrant and when they sign on to enter it keeps track of those entries, showing up at the head of the widget. But if cookies have been removed from ones computer Gleam does not recognize it until you re-sign in. Thus it asks the user to use the same sign in they initially used.
My entries still show at the head of the widget. However, Patrick, the problem isn't whether entries show or not. Rather was there a winner or was this a hoax? No I don't believe it was a hoax. But it has been very poor web site administration. In effect y'all might have just lost all or most of your gain from this promotion due simply to not posting that there was actually a winner. You didn't even have to post the name. But you haven't informed any of the participants of what has been happening with this contest.
I don't know that this is repairable?? Perhaps if you were to give the other two cameras to contestants that have already entered and appraise all the other entrants of that progress and an apology for not doing so to begin with?
I might add that just running another drawing for the other two cameras won't work. Those that have entered will just figure it's another hoax and ignore it. But doing as I mentioned would show your sincerity and might just establish a loyalty from those that have already entered.
An expensive lesson non the less.
So does that mean that if I've cleared my cookies I'll not be counted in the drawing ? (If it hasn't been done yet)

if you showed that you had entries before they will still be counted. You not seeing them just means that Gleam ( the one handling the contest widget) aren't recognizing your computer. But the entries are there and the prize will go to whomever wins email address or phone number.
