The Most Influential Drone Pilots of 2018 and Who to Watch in 2019 from Drone Multimedia

Drone Multimedia is one of the largest drone accounts on Instagram today. Throughout 2018, they collected a bunch of data and feedback from the content they shared to create this list of the top 20 most influential drone pilots of the year.

Looking back at 2018, it certainly isn't too hard to reflect on all the amazing content that was shared online. As technology evolves and becomes more available to people, drones and photography can really become a big part of people's lives. I am happy to see Drone Multimedia put this list together, because they are one of the main pages that has inspired me over the past few years. If it weren't for the people behind these big accounts finding, gathering, and reposting other people's content, we wouldn't be exposed to a lot of the beautiful work people create with drones today.

Congrats to everyone who made the list this year! The work that is consistently posted on pages like this inspires millions of people on a daily basis and creates communities where we can all learn and grow from each other. I've had the honor of talking with many of the pilots on the list throughout the year and got to learn a little bit more about them. I also had the honor working alongside some of the most influential people to me this year, just because big accounts expose the work of great artists all around the world.

I am looking forward to the content that will come in 2019 and to actually meeting some of the people who have helped communities like this grow over the years. I am a huge nerd when it comes to drones and have been flying for over 4 years. I enjoy doing aerial photography as my personal work but shoot tons of video for work as well. I am a part of Simply Visual Productions and Simply Sounds, working my way into an industry I couldn't be happier to be a part of.
