Pike’s innovative use of mixers is definitely worth investigating, but my favorite is probably his idea for creating a wireless, handheld microphone for interviews. And Pike is right: these microphones are so versatile that they’re rapidly becoming the default choice for run-and-gun shooters everywhere.
There are some limitations on how well they perform when objects appear between the transmitter and the receiver, so it’s worth doing some research and considering how you’ll be using them before you pull the trigger.
